In a prison where inmates are fed on a descending platform, those on the upper levels take more than their fair share while those below are left to starve on scraps and one man decides to change the system.. The film was shot chronologically, as Iván Massagué had to lose 12 kilos (26 lbs) over the six-week shoot to show his physical deterioration.. When the characters are on the platform, it moves downwards not as fast as it did before.. Goreng: The people above won’t listen to me.Imoguiri: Why not?Goreng: I can’t shit upwards.. Featured in FoundFlix: The Platform (2020) Explained (2020). I am giving it a solid 7. Good movie. Reminds me to snowpiercer from Bong Joon Ho but in this case the prision is vertical and not horizontal (train) but challenges the human behavior in a similar way.
