Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals)
Synopsis
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-standing rivalry that comes to a head. The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books, so I can’t comment on how accurate they are.
And great escapism
Or whether they cast the right actor to play RCB. However, I can say that I really enjoyed this show and I really hope there is a second series. It’s great television though.
I wish there were more episodes
I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days. It’s good that they don’t drag it out too much though. David Tennant is great, as always.
But he was brilliant
But I was actually more surprised by how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things. (Who hasn’t) And I was a bit skeptical about seeing him in this.
Too many to mention
There are so many characters that I absolutely love and some that I loved to hate. Highly recommended. Please Disney and renew this show.
