Synopsis
Unravel the mystery of a town in the midwest that imprisons all who enter. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, they must survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The town set was built specifically for the series in northern Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. Beaver Bank Villa has a long history, and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, etc.

Only the pedestrian streets and tracks remain, and the fake town is built on them. ) Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)Written by Jay Livingston and performed by Ray Evans of the Pixies. I’ve loved this show so far and the acting and mystery etc are definitely pretty cool.
However this is a "Lost" vibe
"Lost" was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, direction etc. What bothered me in the end was how much of a mystery there was just to be a mystery. Watching the second season, I got a little annoyed every time something else was weird. The mystery was introduced, whether it was a symbol, an object, a thing, an event…
This is just one of those mystery-fog-creature or hatch or light etc
mainly because I couldn’t stop thinking "Will this be relevant in the long run in any way? Run? The writer can go behind their back and pull absolutely anything and never go back to it. It’s "paleontological" and "spatula"!" And that’s it, forgotten after one season, no explanation, it was just weird.
