Synopsis
CIA operative Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real military advisors helped create more authentic gun control, house clearance, situational awareness, squad-based activities, etc…
But this is a step too far
I’m a fan of Yellowstone & most of Taylor Sheridan’s work. Now obviously, things have to go wrong to create a plot, but wow!
They ruin every operation they take on
This group of obvious special operatives are inept. Starting with the scene where the insurgents are allowed to start attacking before realizing they might be the bad guys, to the ridiculous decision to use an unlikable pathetic woman (the main character) to befriend a fun party.
And that’s true
if not for the fact that this material should be taken seriously. Others here have already said that the main character is painted as some kind of supergirl.
She’s like the Terminator!
But my main problem is that I don’t really like her.
