Synopsis
When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, their lives are forever changed by a mysterious and wealthy client. Filming took place over a total of 34 days. from March 16, 2023 to May 5, 2023. It was filmed in Budapest, Hungary and Carrara, Italy. Up Close: Why Do We Need the Venice Film Festival? (2024). Rating – 9.1: Overall, this is a great epic that honors time and changes stories as it shows what can be done on such a small budget – all combined with great filmmaking, deep writing, and an incredible performance by Adrien.
