Director Andrew Ahn presents a delightfully flawed film about a select family navigating cultural identity, homosexuality, and family expectations. Commitment-averse boyfriend Chris and Min, frustrated with running out of time, propose a proposal: a green card marriage to their friend Angela in exchange for her partner Lee’s expensive IVF. However, their elopement plans are turned upside down when Min’s grandmother surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet.
