The exterior shots of the house is similar to the same house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family
It tells the story of three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems.. I was surprised to see the show rated as low as it is, but it made more sense after seeing a lot of the reviews explaining how they didn’t get past the first episode.
I really love the cast, and everyone’s performance
The show is a mystery romp slow burn that may not be for everyone. I personally found it to be funny and entertaining with a tone particular to Liz Feldman that I enjoy.
By the last episode I was pretty invested in the story, despite working out the major twist very early on
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own biases (a lifetime of not being able to separate him from Everyone Loves Raymond) but that went away pretty quickly. All the various characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos which is gradually, although not fully, unraveled.
I’m not mad at that though
I'd love to see more of this show and really hope they get a second season.. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
