I really like what he did with this film, but I felt like something was missing

If you’re like me, I didn’t know anything about this story before watching the movie, so it was really interesting. It’s a good movie, not the best, but Anna Kendrick did a great job in her directorial debut. With the exception of a couple of walls, it lacks the intrigue that could make it a truly great thriller. Anyway, it’s a solid film that I would recommend watching once, and I hope we see more of Anna Kendrick’s directorial work in the future!

Smile 2 is a must-watch for horror fans, offering a solid continuation of the series that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I wasn’t familiar with the franchise before I watched the first film and I’m glad I did. It’s rare that a horror sequel outdoes its predecessor, but Smile 2 manages to do just that.

The ending, however, is the film’s only real flaw

The performances are excellent and the pacing keeps you fully engaged. After such a thrilling experience, the conclusion feels unsatisfying and unclear, leaving the audience without a clear resolution. While it maintains the suspense, it doesn’t reward the viewer for investing in the story.
