Jon Hamm is BB’s boss — until episode 4, he has little to do except act tense and tell BB to fix the problem. Demi Moore plays his barely visible wife — maybe they’ll come together later to play a role in the plot.

The cast of ‘Shrinking’ share the key moments that defined their characters in Season 1, and reveal who did the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to star in the series, Segel said that originally Goldstein wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and wanted to audition people who resembled Ford. Segel told Goldstein they had to at least take it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being introduced to the project, sparking interest from other big-name actors.
In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but was nonetheless elated. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). And the rest of the show is great too.
He has the weird, idiotically confident energy needed for this role. Her humor fits the dialogue just right. This is the new breed of situation dramas. No real punchlines, just engaging personalities with a dash of quirk and family circumstances that are a little above the norm but still relatable.
Of course, Jimmy’s behavior as a therapist is completely absurd. Just impossible. But we allow metaphorical situations in the drama. And in this script, we feel a strong sense of purpose in the decisions.
We have to give the writers the benefit and try to get to the essence. Other reviewers seemed to have trouble.

Media commentator Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first lead TV role. 6 episodes in, but still a lot of it is cringeworthy, the writing is its worst enemy. Unfortunately, the writers have made the characters look like total idiots, where they make decisions that are simply not realistic. From the main characters making decisions that no sane person would ever make, to the police and FBI doing things that would never happen in real life as they would all get fired, to all the supporting characters, it really detracts from the overall story. It’s like watching one of those horror movies where all the characters decide to split up because they don’t want to work together, even though there’s an axe-wielding maniac somewhere. I like the premise of the story and the acting, while not great, is ok, but the writing is just awful. I’m really struggling to finish this.
