Hippo is a story of two half-siblings: Hippo, a video game addict, and Boglárka, a Hungarian Catholic immigrant with a love for classical music and Jesus, exploring their coming of age. Like the ancient Greek Aphrodite, Boglárka’s love is unrequited by her sibling, who is more interested in the arts of war and chaos. The result is a hormone-fueled, tragicomic waking nightmare that has to be seen to be believed.
